Welcome to the “Rohri Sharif And Matamdari” Weblog, as some of you may know that Rohri Sharif is an old city on the left bank of indus river near Sukkur City in Sindh Privince of Pakistan. Rohri City has many priviliges including possesssion of the Sacred Hair of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w.w) and Hosting the coming of Shaheed e Karbala Hazrat Imam Hussain (a.s) on 9th of Muharram every year and also Rohri has distiguishment in being the oldest city of Sindh province to start Matamdari or Azadari e Imam Hussain (a,s) in the region. All praise to Allah the Almighty who sent 125000 saints and sufi scholars, to name a few, Syed Janullah Shah aval, Syed Morr Shah, Syed Haider Shah Haqqani, Syed Bukhari Shah, Syed Haji(na) Ali Shah, Syed Mola Muhib Shah, Syed Shah Khairwand, Syed Jeay Shah, Syed Noor Mola Shah, Syed Boolan Shah, Hazrat Qadir Bux Bedil (all rehmatullah alaih) in this city over a long span of time who taught real islam, realism, sufizm, love and respect for everyone. So people also understand the great place of “reason of creation of universe Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.w) and the Panjtan paak (a.s)”

Therefore alhamdolillah rohri city with its special place continues to remain so, centuries old imam bargahs are now reconstructed very beautifully and replicating original Roza e Imam Hussain (a.s) in Karbala Iraq and Roza e Mola e Kul Ameerul Momineen Imam ul Awaleen Mola Ali(a.s) in Najaf ashraf Iraq.

One more speciality of Rohri city is that Shia, Sunni, Sufi and even non muslims all alike participate in the Matamdari e Shaheedan e Karbala during the Muharram days and pay tribute to the Imam Hussain (a.s) at their own level, some not even publicly.

 

 

ڏِٺو مُحَرَّمُ ماهُ، سَنڪــو شَهـزادَنِ ٿِـيـو؛
ڄاڻي ھيـڪُ اَللهُ، پاڻَ وَڻَندِيُون جو ڪَري.

مُحَرَّمَ موٽِي آئِيو، آئِيا تان نه اِمامَ؛
مَدِيني جا ڄاَم مؤلا، مُون کي ميڙِئين!

مِيرَ مَدِينِئان نِڪِري آئِيا نه موٽِي؛
ڪارا رَڱِج ڪَپِڙا، اَدا نِيروٽِي!
آن تنِين لَءِ لوٺِي، جي مِيرَ مُسافِرَ رانئـِيا.

سَخِتي شَھادَتَ جِي، مِڙوئِي مَلا رُ؛
ذَرو ناهِ يَزِيدکي، اِي عِشَقَ جَوآثارُ؛
ڪُسَڻَ جو قَرارُ، اَصُلُ اِمامَنِ سين.
5
سَخِتِي شَھادَتَ جِي، نِسورو ئِي نازُ؛
رِندَ پَرُوڙِينِ رازُ، قَضِيي ڪَربَلا جو.
